Self Portrait Scan Project
Accidental Color hue, I couldn't decide which one I liked best so I decided to post both because it made for an interesting juxtaposition. These were also a starting point for the rest of my images which have subtle and not so sublte references in them.
I LOVE the one with the pebbles! The colors create such a cool and unique image!

ReplyDeleteI love the mask one. I Like that you added a different element to it than just the mask and actually tied the bridge of the nose. It's kind of creepy but I think that's why I'm so drawn to it.

ReplyDeleteThe one of the mask is my favorite. Its gloomy and elegant at the same time. I also think it will make a great cyanotype.
ReplyDeleteThe Mask! It is quite beautiful, with shades of the theatrical (the ribbon). The two blues work well together and their brightness is stark and compelling against the dark background.
ReplyDeleteI really like the third one of the mask. It looks really mysterious and very theatrical. The blues really pop with that black background.
ReplyDeleteI like the pebbles. The texture is very satisfying and i love the similarities between the glitchy scan in the background and the patterns on the surface of the pebbles.

ReplyDeleteI really like the blue themed one, I think it tells us about you and has such a fun setup! The color and image is so sharp, it scanned really nicely.
ReplyDeleteI especially like the red flower for its simplicity. I would know that these were your photographs no matter where I saw them. Your arrangements are always so expressive and they are so you.
